Ali Azarmi has been part of the Middle East’s advertising industry since 1987. Graduated and started his career in London working for Publicist Graphics and then moved to Dubai as ECD of BBDO until 2004 and has been working as advertising consultant on project basis since. In 2008 Ali and Mehdi established Joy Films in Dubai and Lebanon. Ali is based in Dubai.
Mehdi established Joy Films in London in 1995 after his phenomenal success as the director of some of the most iconic TV Commercials. His inventiveness and creativity continues just as potently today. Mehdi Directed two feature films under Joy Films, Leo, Featuring some of Hollywood’s greatest and Killing Joe. A period drama for which he was Oscar nominated.
Nima is Joyfilm's no-nonsense Senior Producer. Not only is he resourceful, calm and client-friendly – he is an excellent problem solver and an absolute pleasure to have on the team.
Anju is JoyFilms Senior Editor, Digital Imaging Technician, and expert in sound engineering. He is experienced in working with human stories, short films, TVCs, and studio recordings.
Joy Films Dubai’s Production Assistant and right-hand man. He is involved in every step of the production process and is always there to go the extra mile. He is also responsible for scouting our shooting locations.
